Ceramic glass in the door and side-lights spreads the flickering firelight from the generously proportioned firebox to bath the room in a relaxing sensation of heat and light. The 550 comes in grey or black lacquered finish. The range of models also includes those with aluminium, soapstone or tiled sides and top. This range of stoves has an output of 3-7kW.

You can place the Contura 580 pedestal stove in the centre of a room and even add the optional turntable to allow 90, 180 or 360 stepless rotation. Alternatively the 580W can be wall hung or the 585 is a pedestal model 11.5cm higher than the 580, for those who want flames at an enjoyable visible height. Output range of 3-7kW.

The Contura 600 series stoves are a contemporary and highly efficient heat source. The new Contura 655 with added side lights widens the view allowing the fire to be enjoyed from all angles. The 660T is clad in heat-retaining soapstone and the 660K is finished in specially manufactured tiles in a matt sand-coloured glaze. Output range of 3-9kW.

The Contura 670 is a little wider at the rear and is therefore best placed against a wall. The stove’s convection system heats the air to nearly 150, but at the same time cools the rear side of the stove, which makes it possible to place the stove near a combustable wall. Output range of 3-9kW.

The 685 is the pillar of the Contura 600 series and tastefully accents all homes. The newly introduced side-lights enable the fire to be seen more clearly. They aid in distributing the light from the fire to a larger proportion of the room. Contura’s unique turntable, enabling the stove to be rotated is suitable for the Contura 685. The design of the 690 echoes that of the other 600 series stove, with an extra large, slightly bowed glass door that is kept free from unsightly soot deposits by a constant flow of heated air. Heat-retaining olivine blocks spread a pleasant warmth even after the fire has burned out. It is available with a convector fascia or a handy oven unit. Output range of 3-9kW.
