The fitting was brilliant with little mess ( which was always cleaned up) and carried out by Nigel who was interesting to chat to as he was skilled at his job. During the 9 hours he was here he took two five minute breaks plus a trip to fetch sand…don’t lose him because he will be difficult to replace. When we first came to look round the showroom, we were shown a large number of stoves and received excellent advice as to their functioning and suitability for our requirements. As a result we were able to make an informed choice.
The surveyor who visited the house was able to guide us through all the rules and regulations. He also kindly managed to advance the date of installation,which has enabled us to start warming up the house that much sooner.
Our final encounter was with Nigel, who rebuilt the fireplace, installed the stove and oversaw the scaffolders. We were impressed by his first-rate craftmanship and by his dedication to producing the best result, even if it took more time, without any extra payment from us. The bonus of the job taking a little longer was that he was such good company that we were very glad to have him with us.
We are delighted with our new stove: it looks good and is extremely efficient, spreading its heat throughout the house as we had hoped. Already it is helping us to reduce our carbon footprint, as we have needed very little supplementary heating, despite the cold weather since its installation. We have also found your follow-up services very helpful, including advice on the best logs to use for our particular stove, their supply and prompt delivery.”

At the initial stage your sales staff patiently explained and demonstrated all technical aspects to us and nothing was too much trouble. The installation team turned up on time, smartly clad in Wendron Stoves motif style and with dust sheets in hand. They wasted no time in settling down to work exceptionally hard and in appalling weather conditions on the external work day.
Every possible care was taken throughout with our property and the workmanship was of a thorough and high standard with excellent levels of staff integration and sequence of work tasks.
John the bricklayer built a first class new fireplace as required and carefully pointed up the brickwork in keeping with our wishes without any brick face staining or marking. His young assistant was hard working with a pleasing courteous manner.

We are absolutely delighted with our new stove and fireplace which John Payne has purpose built for us.
